This is what our current members say about Disco Fitness…
“Going to the gym never appealed to me but Disco Fitness sounded fun. I was concerned the class might be full of perfect looking people who knew exactly what they were doing and that I would struggle to keep up and stand out like a sore thumb!
However, Charlotte’s classes are great. She explains everything really clearly and is always really encouraging. It’s the kind of class where it really doesn’t matter if you go wrong – nobody judges you.
I now actually enjoy keeping fit as a result of coming to the classes! I had always seen exercise as a bit of a chore before but Disco Fitness is more like a dance class and is fun – I hate to miss it!”
Mairead Ritchie“I hated PE at school, and wanted to find a way of exercising that didn’t feel like torture! I was a bit nervous that everyone else would know what they were doing and I wouldn’t but the classes are friendly and relaxed. Working with Charlotte has been brilliant because she gets you working up a sweat but always with a smile and plenty of encouragement.
I now have the confidence to have a go at things I wouldn’t have done before and I feel comfortable in my own skin. I feel fitter and healthier than ever.”
Linda Riches“Before starting Charlotte’s classes I hadn’t exercised for a good 15-20 years. I’d danced before when I was younger, and was keen to get fit but unsure of what to do. I can’t bear the gym and normal aerobic style classes are just so boring. I felt very unfit, overweight and self-conscious. I didn’t want to draw attention to myself or find I was completely unable to keep up.
I needn’t have worried though, they are a lovely group of ladies and no one is there to judge. It’s just about having fun whilst getting fit. Charlotte is a fantastic instructor, she makes you feel comfortable, confident, and is very clear with instructions and guidance. It’s clear she has a real passion for dance and this shines through in her classes.
I’ve gained confidence, lost weight, I’m on the road to getting fitter and the classes have given me back some me time.”
